What do I need to know before I get started?

Each template is saved in a layered PSD file that must be edited in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.  They are sized to 1844 x 1240 pixels and are compatible with most of today’s most popular 4×6 dye-sub printers and work with most of the professional photo booth software programs on the market today including Breeze, Social Booth, Photo Booth Upload and Photoboof.  We also provide templates that are cropped to work with Darkroom Booth, but they are NOT Darkroom Booth .xbdr files.  Rather, they must be edited in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, and can be imported into Darkroom Booth as an overlay image.

Do you offer customization assistance?

Our templates are offered on a “self service” basis, and we are currently unable to offer customization services or software support. Before signing up, we suggest that  download and test a sample template to make sure that you feel comfortable editing in Photoshop and loading the file into your software. Click here to download a set of sample files. Please understand that due to the digital nature of our service, we do not offer refunds for memberships.

Which editing software do you recommend?

Our templates are designed to be edited in Photoshop (CS3 or later) or Photoshop Elements (version 10 or later). However, we highly suggest using Photoshop CS or CC over Photoshop Elements. The process to edit template colors is much simpler in the professional version of Photoshop.

How are your templates delivered and used?

Templates are delivered in a .zip file. When you open the zip folder, it will contain two PSD files. The file with PSE in the file name is designed to be used with Photoshop Elements, as the layer structure has been simplified to work with this program. All layers are labeled and should help you navigate the file for editing. Links to the fonts required are listed on the top layer of each file and coordinates are listed on the bottom layer/layer group. Edited files should be saved as a single Overlay PNG file. Separate background files are not required.

The price will drop to zero for Platinum Members. For Classic Members, your free monthly template discount will auto apply in the cart when you add a template.

Please remember prior to submitting your support request that we are unable to provide Photoshop training or Photo Booth Software support. You should have a working knowledge of Photoshop or Photoshop Elements and your Photo Booth Software prior to signing up for your membership.
